Free ICT Diagnostic

Welsh Assembly Governments new eBusiness programme

The Welsh Assembly Government offers a free information and communications technology (ICT) diagnostic review for businesses in Wales. The review would help you identify how you can use ICT more effectively to streamline your business. Tawemedia Ltd are appointed eBusiness consultants currently delivering this programme in conjunction with Mid West Wales Chamber.

During the ICT diagnostic, we will analyse how you use ICT in your business. We will try to identify potential new opportunities for using ICT and, where necessary, make recommendations to help you get more out of your existing systems or upgrade them.

After the review you’ll get an easy-to-understand report which will show clearly:

  • any opportunities for improvement
  • the anticipated benefits of making the improvement
  • the solutions that are available to your business

What does the diagnostic look at?

The diagnostic review will give you an assessment of the following aspects of ICT usage in your business:

  • core technologies including network/server architecture
  • systems and data security
  • software use across the business
  • business continuity
  • ICT policies
  • security issues

The review can also identify opportunities for introducing specific technologies into your business to improve its operations. Some examples of the types of technology that could be considered include:

  • client relation management tools
  • financial management tools
  • manufacturing and resource planning tools
  • e-commerce and its use with back-office administrations

There is also a wealth of IT information and advice that can be found at the Welsh Assembly Governments IT Guide. Please click on the below image to view the website and register.
